Yellow Coop ("we," "us") provides fractional CTO services, AI solutions and technology projects from Simpsonville, South Carolina. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit yellowcoop.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Information you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter or fill out a form, we collect what you enter, such as your name and email address. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours collects basic technical data when you visit. This includes your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site that referred you, and when you visited. Cookies and similar technologies collect this data (see below).

How we use it

• To reply to your questions and requests for consultations.
• To send the newsletter you signed up for.
• To understand how people use the site so we can improve it.
• To keep the site secure and working, and to meet legal obligations.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Cookies and analytics

• HubSpot. We use HubSpot for our forms, email and website analytics. HubSpot sets cookies that help us see how visitors use the site and connect form submissions to site visits. For more information, see HubSpot's privacy policy.
• Hosting provider. Our host, GoDaddy, may use its own scripts and cookies for site performance, security (such as bot protection) and basic traffic statistics.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, some parts of the site may not work as intended.

Newsletter and unsubscribing

We send the newsletter only to people who sign up. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at info@yellowcoop.com. We will process your request promptly.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only:

• with service providers that help us run the site and our communications (such as HubSpot and GoDaddy), and only to the extent needed to provide those services;
• when the law requires it, or when needed to protect our rights, our users or the public; or
• as part of a merger, sale or other business transfer, in which case this policy continues to apply.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. For example, we keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe, and we keep inquiry records for as long as is reasonable for our business. After that, we delete or anonymize it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing emails. To make a request, email info@yellowcoop.com. We may need to verify your identity first.

US state privacy rights. Depending on where you live, state law may give you more rights. Some states, including California, Virginia and Colorado, have such laws. These rights may include knowing what we collect, getting a copy, correcting or deleting it, and opting out of the sale of your data or its use for targeted advertising. We honor applicable requests and will not discriminate against you for making one.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version here and change the effective date above.
